damn, that rattle sucks, did you contact berk?
No, lol. The previous owner installed it and I have no paperwork so i'm out of luck anyway. When I switch to a 70mm single i'll be going with an asura cat instead.

I think it all just depends on your setup. I've tried all 3, and for some reason my car sounds cheap and raspy with the TP.

On the other hand, my friend has a different combination of catback and header to me, and his car sounds great with the TP.

So for me, i've gone back to stock cat just because it sounds best. lose a couple of HP, no biggy.

I have a TP with a T1R 70r em dual sparrow. I have no raspiness so I believe it depends on the exhaust. Yeah it does smell and on cruises I stay in the rear to accommodate ppl, no big deal. For those that are sooooooooo concerned with the environment, I find that pretty funny, I'm sure you recycle and do every single thing possible to save our planet

If you are in CA, go with the HFC it will save you a lot of headaches.

Also, if you want to be picky about the law, ANY modification to oem exhaust system is illegal in some states, cops just don' enforce it. Here in Illinois I got pulled over for loud exhaust. I told the police officer I was going to get a quiter one, he stated the that in Illinois any modification is illegal. I looked it up cuz I thought he was bs'ing me. he was right.

if it doesnt have a raspy sound i will seriously contemplate buying one! is it a whole lot louder aswell ?
No it isn't raspy. It will be louder than the stock cat but by how much i'm not sure because I bought the car with it on already. When i'm a little less lazy i'll upload the vid of the rattle. Otherwise this is what it will sound like. This is a good example of when you can't hear the rattle btw.

The HKS sounds quite nice with the stock cat. Always an exhaust that gets compliments.
