I have a small tear in my top and will be replacing it soon. I have found tops made two materials. Both are made by Haartz. The OEM top is made of the Twill weave and is cheaper by about a houndred dollars. The two fabrics are.

1. Haartz Stayfast canvas material
2. Haartz Black Twill Weave Grain PVC Vinyl topping

The folks who sell the tops say the stayfast is "the better top". I don't know.

Has anybody had experiance with both. It would be great to make this choice with some idea of look and durability.

 

From what I have read the one to get is the Stayfast

 

I have no experince with the Haartz canvas top, but I have seem other canvas tops develop mold and they seem to stain easier.

 

PVC=Longer lasting.
Canvas=Looks better,...for a while.
