WTH are those brackets? Lol.
Got some stripping from pep boys, guy said paint will be done today, he is calling in his glass guy.
Yeah... I put the top up with the brackets on bent one of my brackets, should be interesting to bend it back to get a perfect fit, bent it back pretty well already. Has a curve instead of a straight angle haha .
Can't find my thread about that, oh well.

Go with the OEM hardware, that's what I did. It is MUCH better.

Anyways I removed some metal from the brackets and now I can use the soft top. Also installed some weather seal on the original HT seal and it fits pretty well but not 100%. I will try to post some pics later on.

Warning: Make sure if you get the pep boys weather strip that it is self adhesive! The one I picked up was "clip on" and cost about $32 as well. Had to waste my time returning it, and now I have to take off the original weather stripping (that comes with it) and go to another pep boys to see if they have the adhesive kind.

Finally got my hardtop installed. I ran into a few issues but nothing too serious. I used the Pep Boys weather stripping and it worked really well. I would like everyone's opinion on the window seals though. To me they don't work very well because of the kink that happens when you install it. Is there a better way to fit them or should I just bite the bullet and buy the OEM hardtop window seals?

Here are some pics of the top installed (VIS 1X1 carbon weave) and sorry for the lousy cell phone pics:

I sprayed a coat of flat clear for a different look and some added protection.

bite the bullet and get oem you'll need the metal piece that screws into the hard top, and the weather stripping. the vis sucks because of the kink, makes a lot of wind noise.

That looks like your hardware there.
Also, your weather stripping is different I believe.

Yeah this is my kit. It is not mentioned that you can’t close the soft top after installing these brackets. I modified the brackets and I can use the soft top.
