VIS Mugen Hard top
I just picked up a new VIS carbon fiber mugen hardtop
Everything on the hardtop fitted pretty decent, no gaps but the rear seems to sit kinda high.
There is a space but no gap for air to come in.
I've seen some pictures of others with vis mugens and their hardtop seems to sit flush on the back.
Is there another way to install or some sort of modification involved?
any help would be appreciated.
thank you

Well, high in the back is subjective. Do you have a picture? Did you push down on the hard while you bolted the back part? Theres also additional mounting points for the rear. But those require custom brackets.
Mines is about half an inch off the base of the trunk, since im using upgraded seals.

I agree with wisdom, do you have any pics? There will be a small gap, but it should sit really close in the rear. When putting mine on I just had someone put all of their weight on each side as I bolted it down. There are the spots in the rear where you can put custom brackets, but i'm pretty sure you have to remove the soft top to be able to use them.
I am using spyders seals on mine, and it sit perfectly flush on the trunk but was hard to get it to seal 100%, so I added another foam type seal on top of the original one so it is easier to seal when putting it on. So I pretty much have 2 seals on mine and it still sits really close in the rear.
Here are some pics of mine with the 2 seals so it's even sitting a little higher than it can.

BTW it's for sale for $1600 for anyone that wants to pick it up in Southwest Kansas, no shipping.

You will have to make them, or have somebody make them for you. You can easily go to your local hardware store and find some metal, then just cut it to the length you need and drill holes to match it up and bolt it on. There should be some existing bolts back there that are pretty even with the bolts on the top back there. I've seen pics of a guy that did his like that but with the new search I can't find it.
Found it. https://www.s2ki.com/s2000/topic/825...ardtop__st__25
Pics of the actual brackets are on page 2, when you click the link it should go there. Then just scroll down.
