You guys seem to think trucks are some sort of primitive things like they used to be. 4WD and nothing else. My truck has the equivalent of VSA AND 4WD. A arm front suspension, 4 wheel disk brakes, 4 channel ABS. My truck has everything the S2k does for bad weather AND 4WD AND decent all weather tires. You can pretend VSA makes your car as capable as a 4WD, that doesn't make it true though.
We had an 07 FJ Cruiser with 4WD and traction control.

Our 04 Audi S4 kicked its ass in the snow. FWIW, ground clearance was never a problem.

We sold the FJ and picked up more Audis instead.

4WD is not the same as AWD and all AWD systems are not equivalent.

That being said, I'd rather be in a 4WD vehicle on snow tires in heavy snow than an S2000.

But that's OT. We're trying to help the OP who does not have a 4WD truck. It's nice that you do, but that's not the point of this thread.

thanx ckit. i see what youre saying. but at the end of the day i think itd be easier to just bolt on the mods to the system than to tune another tc to working with my car. thanx for explaining it in terms easy to understand. btw i think were as far as the 4 wheel drive and vsa and all that stuff go.
