I have a T1R 70mm test pipe on my car, and I was contemplating getting some tabs welded on to bolt the cat shields on. I read on a really old post that the piping is too large to put the shields over, but another member said he was has the shields on. Has anyone does this before that can shed some light?

Just trying to see if there's any way for me to feel a little "safer" running a TP here in CA.
