I'm shopping around for a 06+ and I noticed this Rio has an odd bump attached to its trunk lid. I don't see anything like this in other pics on the web.

What could it be? If it's something I might not want, might I be able to take it off and restore the lid?

It shoots spikes out to disable trailing Civics.

 

There is a hole under the antenna, I'd keep it in place and just not use it rather than trying to patch the hole and paint the lid.
