im not a fan of the bolt on / rivet on fenders, for the most part I feel they look cheesy, and cheap. Theres a handful of cars they belong on, and look good on, but really only a handful...think 993 GT2.

fender flares are stupid unless your running a rim over 10 inch wide and your running at least a 275 or larger rear tire.
And even then, you can still fit 275 width rear tires on stock fenders. It's dumb to mutilate your car when you don't even have to.
Not true. I love the look of the concave face 17" ce28's but hate running more than 3deg camber. If you want to fit those on an S, you're gonna need anywhere from 2.8 to 3deg camber if you run the proper tire size. You also need a roll+ crazy pull.

Orr

You run 2-2.5deg camber, cut your quarters and run flares.

I'm running 17x9.5 +35 wheels on 255/40/17's. I got my flares put on so I can run a bit less camber and make use of the whole tire. I DD the car racking up anywhere from 10-15K miles a year...or more

Uhh... with the right offset, you can absolutely run 275 width on stock fenders - which is gracious plenty for a car with less than 300HP. All of this hacking up your car to run wheels that don't fit is stupid.

I think it all ends up being the degree of radical you wish to project. I am keeping my car stock looking except wheels. I like the stealth lo-key Silverstone look.
With a roll and relocate tabs I run 285 on 10.5 wide 18 inch wheels, and have room for more on the inside. 2" outer 8.5" inner CCW classics.

That said some of the molded flairs look great, and on cars with lots of other body mods the Bolt on style has a lot of flash, just not for me but I am 58 years old.

Is it really 100% irreversible? I've seen a couple of people selling rear quarter panels of the s2000. Wouldn't it be possible to just cut the rear fenders then reattach the new ones to the car? I'm not an expert in body work but in curious to see if this has been done before. I don't want to cut my fenders either lol. I prefer something reversible.

Not true; I have 18x10.5 rears on mine now (concave and f-r stagger, axis halo, +45) running 275s and 9.5 fronts running 245s, and have zero issues unless I completely bottom the shock travel, and then there's a tiny amount of rub that could be cured with a slight cut or roll. I'm running stock camber all around...

I got my asm flares installed a few months back and i think they look great. I'm running 17x11.5+50 with a 295/35/17 rear tire.

Gives the car more "hips" which I like. Plus they're functional for wider tires so I'm definitely a fan.

I'm a fan of ASM flares and Voltex flares. The rest are trash to me. My opinion so to each their own.
