CAI would not be a bad idea, you'll love the sound in VTEC for sure. One of the first mods I did.

today i took the top of the stock airbox off just to see how it sounded, so much better than with it on, louder sounds awesome, how does a cai compare to the sound of that? Also where would i get a good countersunk shift knob?

If you get an open filter type intake for example, AEM, INJEN, FUJITA, K&N where the filter is exposed, it will sound similar.

There are plenty of manufacturers making shift knobs, it all depends on the style your looking for.

I have the Voodoo knob and love it, but Moddiction on here has them that are good and heavy, I would get one from him. Also your going to get so many opinions on this. So almost everyone here will tell you something different. I say moddiction shift knob, K&N for the airbox and 60mm test pipe. Or some good lowering springs. I cant belive I had my s2k for a year at stock height, it looks so much better now that its lowered some.
