What flywheel are you using? Is it the original AP2 flywheel? If so ditch it for a resurfaced AP1 or get an 11lb flywheel with an OEM disc. You should not be going through discs on the clutch that quickly IMO. Change up a few things and see if that helps.

With the SOS sport clutch kit , we also installed the SOS 11.5 lightweight flywheel.

What are the exact issues you're having or had with the SOS sport clutch? I haven't heard of any issues until now. There seem to be quite a few people happy with the clutch, particularly those running boost, including me.

I've had the SOS sport clutch (mated with a resurfaced ap1 flywheel with the CDV removed) on my SOS/6 psi ap2 for 5k miles (all boosted) so far and don't have any issues. Granted I'm only making ~318 whp uncorrected, but there are others putting down more power on the clutch with no issues that I know of.

The BMW is a great car -- if you like high-strung racing cars in street garb. .... Shortly after my high pressure fuel pump was replaced, I started noticing some leaking .... You needed a new clutch probably because you continued to drive the car after the ... Car manufacturers step up to the plate to cover you either warranty

I'm literally a few days from ordering a new clutch from SOS. Any more details on the sudden increase of people having issues? The centerforce clutch is looking like a good alternative.

The clutch slips at high rpms, also the clutch pedal sticks at high rpms. I already changed the CMC and adjusted it , clutch bleeding was also performed. Last week the slave cylinder was inspected and no problems found there. SOS told me that it could be wear on the clutch disk, if the CMC was replaced.

Sorry to hear about your trouble. You need to be sure that the master cylinder is adjust correctly. Check the oem repair manual on how to do this properly. i suspect it is not adjusted correctly.

I didnt do the adjustment personally. My mechanic did the install and adjustment. He only works Honda/Acura for the last 20 years.
