What sort of tunes have you done.
As i progress into the car world, i hear more and more about people tuning their cars, but nobody really explains what they have done. if you could, tell me about tuning your car in nice full detail, or send me links

There is an entire subforum for this. Basically there is 2 ways of tuning these cars. Piggyback tuners and replacement ecu or a "full tune".
Piggybacks are much cheaper but also have much less functionality. They work on top of the stock ECU to modify things like air fuel rations, timing and a few other minor things. Some are better than others and have more functionality but not much. The stock ECU is still able to override these devices. These are best used for NA cars with bolt ons as they generally don't have the power for more complex set ups like a turbo. Greddy emanage ultimate is the most capable of these in that it offers the most tuning options and it is the system I currently run.
The other is the replacement ECU or full tune or whatever you want to call it. These replace the factory ecu and allow for fully custom tuning. Since they replace the stock ecu there is nothing to override the tune or interfere. Some exaples of this are AEM, Kpro, Haltech and to a point flashpro (though flashpro still works with the stock ecu it allows for the ecu to be totally retuned). Tuning for these is much more complicated and more expensive however it can be tuned for pretty much any set up out there. Note that the only 2 systems that will pass emissions are the Kpro and Flashpro.
This isn't a topic someone can tell you how to do over a forum. You need to do a lot of reading in the forum above to determine what system is right for you and even then you need to have a deep understanding of a number of things in order to properly tune a car. This is often best left to a professional tuner as you can easily destroy your car with a bad tune.
