The powder coating will come off the first time you put an impact gun on it.

 

The Kics lug nuts I have don't look like they will fade at all, since they aren't anodized.

 

Can anodized lugnuts be re-anodized?

 

Get them powder coated and use a lug wrench not an impact gun.


If they are baked and sandblasted for prep...

I bet this would be pretty damn durable.



If you wanted you could wrap them once with electrical tape for instal just to be safe.
