Default wideband readings

on MY01 ap1 i have k an n fipk, test pipe and just got my t1r 70mm v3 single and i was running really rich up top. i leaned it out so now im running 8500rpm im running 12.9-13.0 and at 9 its 13.1. now when i hit vtec at it spikes up to 15.0 for a splits second. i added +2 at 5500, and added +3 at 6k and it did go down a little to about 14.7 but the ecu wont let me add anymore. and i can trim alot off of low end its running about 12.6 so i can lean that out to about 13.2. i want to run a somewhat safe tune...i always run 93.

You have found the down-fall of the afc. You will more than likely have to sacrifice parts of your tune to improve others. I would try leaning it out down low, which should allow you to richen it up a tiny bit through the mid range, I usually aim for around 13.2-13.5 when street tuning. Though when on the dyno I have found that I need to drop that number by a few points to make up for the load on the street/track.

okay thanks. yeah i forgot about the Lvt and Hvt so i only added that fuel at the Hvt(5500-6000). im going to try and add a little more fuel at lvt at 5500 and 6000 cause i think thats how high lvt goes. maybe that will help me out some as well. also i noticed last night i did some tuning cause im new to the whole device, im not an idiot so im slowly working with what i feel comfortable with but nnext time i turned on my car the tune was gone?. evernthing was 0 on the a/f correction
