Default Window replacement

So my window is pitted to all hell and looks like it's covered in dust whenever sunlight hits it and is nearly impossible to see through at night when it rains. Anyone have any clue why s2k windshields are so easily pitted? What are the options for replacement? Is there a sturdier window replacement I can go with?

Oem windshields are best.

The s2k windshield is raked at a upright angle and the car sits pretty low compared to other vehicles. The windshield tends to catch flak and debris kicked up from other vehicles so over a period of time or long miles, it gets pitted up.

The windshield isn't that vertical though. I have other cars that have never been this bad with 3x the mileage. Wasn't sure if OEM glass was thin or what.

Pilkington and PPG makes good replacement oem windshields but OEM is best. Like I said before, our cars windshield angle and lowness of our vehicles become victims of debri and sandblasting when we follow other vehicles too closely. I never said our windshields are VERTICAL though. Lol
