wondering about this idea for the front plates

swift motorsports Motorized Hide Away License Plate Holder.
has anyone done this to there cars?

Cool idea, but under the lip is a no go for me. I cringe enough when the lip rubs, hearing that thing taking a beating would put me in the nuthouse.

They do offer a non-motorized hide a plate for $60.00

yeah but the motorized is soo much cooler don't you think?.. example: rig it to the handbrake or when the car is off, plate comes up, when you start the car or drive it, it hides... how bad a$$ is that!
