I recently made the choice to put a roll bar in and switch out the steering wheel. I went with the sparco wheel and works bell hub and quick release. I was left to deal with what to do about the cruise control so I made a special bracket and I think it turned out great. What do you guys think?

 

Looks good! "Losing" cruise control has held me back from buying a QR setup. Could you post or PM additional pics of said bracket?

 

I made an aluminum bracket and an angle and riveted it together and drilled holes to fit the hub

i saw another guy who had his cut with water jets and it even had the bolt pattern drilled into it...I noticed yours is completely round where it mounts to the hub with no bolt pattern (unless you took this picture before you drilled the holes). Just curious, what keeps your design from rotating? Is it just the fact that it's being sandwiched in between two parts? which parts is it sandwiched between?

 

Good idea! I am in the same boat about getting an aftermarket steering wheel.
