Definatly my bubble (dildo) shift knob. $40, took a month to get here, and broke within 2 days. Was a funny shift knob for 2 days though!

As much as I hate to say it, it was supercharging my car. Put way more money into it than I anticipated. Car still has issues.

Lets see, where do I start?

Car still has fuel starvation issues during hard corners when fuel gets close to 1/2 tank or less. Was told to go to a return less fuel system to eliminate it(apparently I'm the only DBW S2000 owner that has this issue...).

The mounting bracket broke one of the "ears" from the head and I need a another head even though my original one has 0% leak down in all 4 cylinders. Then I need to go to a fabricator and "re-engineer" the bracket so it mounts to a different point so it doesn't break the ears off the new head. (Thanks Vortech, and thanks for ignoring my emails regarding this issue, SMH).

Car is temperamental now...

I miss the days when I could just turn the key and go.

For me, it was probably an AEM V1 CAI. The car just felt flat out sluggish when I installed it. I took it off and went back to the stock box.

Anyhow, I'd probably have to say I regret buying APR CF side mirrors. They're a decent quality product and company and they looked great, just a pain to keep adjusted just right, plus they warped my door skins (just the area where the bases mount, which I did manage to bend back but they're still not perfect). Ended up selling them and putting the stock ones back on.

I wish i would have seen this before I bought them. I love how they look, but they're really not a quality product. My driver side mirror is rattling inside the cf case. I dont know how the mirror got loose, but it did and now it drives me nuts. And on top of that, the driver side never stays in place. Just driving at 55mph knocks it out of place so all I see is pavement. I've tried tightening it down but nothing seems to work. If they were more functional, I'd love them. The wide angle is nice, the CF is sleek, but they just arent worth $300+.

FWIW, from my experience, APR's customer service was (and hopefully still is) top notch. You might try calling or e-mailing them to see if they'll fix or replace the defective part(s).

If they're what I use to have, the pillow ball mount, I just got a little dab of JB weld and held it place, then applied a thin line around the inside of the ball, rock solid up to 200mph.

K&N drop in filter has been proven on this forum to gain 7whp over stock, I dont think people realize that you really wont notice 7whp difference. However I can tell you when I cleaned my dirty K&N filter, there was QUITE a bit of a difference.
The only way a K&N filter is gaining 7whp over a stock filter is if the stock one is extremely dirty and you're replacing it with a clean new K&N.

Lol, some filter/intake combos definitely make power, likely all of them would make less than 10% though. Can it be felt, under certain circumstances, I think so.

Bought my S2k with Innovative 85A motor mounts. Top Quality pieces, and def a huge plus for a track or high power car, where your really pushing the stock rubber mounts..

But for a street driven stock HP car, I feel like I, my hardtop, and my steering wheel are now absorbing the engine vibration. And thats not fair.
