The only way a K&N filter is gaining 7whp over a stock filter is if the stock one is extremely dirty and you're replacing it with a clean new K&N.

 

I like this thread, its a bunch of guys that for the most part like a stock-ish car with minor touches. or doing things that are well thought out.


worst mod: continental tires. i had the conti-tac or conti-sport 2's whatever the hell continental calls their "gonna-get-you-killed" tire. these things were narrow for a 245, scary in all situations and were loud. got a set of starspecs and love it.

 

APR CF side mirrors. Got rid of them and got proper CF mirrors (craft square)

 

second worst mod: curved rear view mirror. because of the angle and the way that they mirror was curved i had to focus really hard in order to clearly see what items behind me were. the image was distorted and gave me headaches. it also caused me to stare at the rear view mirror to figure out what was going on behind me.

actually, my car is a garage queen. dont drive it in the rain. i have a second car for that.

 

What didn't you like with APR CF side mirrors?

 

vented hood bought from you!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! lol jk.... i don't regret any mods i do to my car since i research the hell outta of them before i buy em ha.... apr gtc 200 would prolly be my worst mod i've done since its not a track car lol

 

I'd just say if they're installed properly and bled properly the pedal feel is really great. Significant improvement over stock IMO.

 

Oh, and worst mod = either Project Mu Club Racer pads (great once they heat up, but super squeaky if daily'd) or Rota Boosts I put on the car first.
