Default Your opinions on spoon..

What are your opinions on buying a spoon-top?

I'm interested in getting a USED one (preferable white because its my car color ) to save money.

What are some name-worthy brands?
At what ballpark should I expect?

Guess the only thing to say now is...

You need a very agressive car to pull off that top. Widebody is almost a must. If the car is stock or mostly stock it looks completely out of place. As for noteworthy brands do you mean reps? Because either spoon or moon craft are the way to go. I saw a via spoon rep and fitment wasn't great.

LOL on a stock car, looks like the hunchback of notre dame or someone hunched over with a large backpack on or a turtle...you get the idea

agreed, the spoon top is too fat for a stock car. needs more substance on the rest of the body to balance it out.

You guys are right. That looks different; not in a good way. Even if a get a wide-body kit, what are some cheep but good quality hardtops?

the fact that that silverstone didn't paint on a faux side window doesn't help either.

There isn't even a Fuad side window on the real spoon top. The moon craft or bulletproof version have the window.

As for cheap hardtops just look in the vendor section. Rockstar and forbidden and the 2 main vendors. Personally I would suggest saving and buying oem but that's just me.
