Finally bought a greddy se v2 dual exhaust. But now I'm contemplating selling my current berk 63.5mm HFC for a 70mm HFC, but will it even matter since the OEM header is 63.5mm (I think) and the greddy se dual although starts with 70mm piping, it then turns into 60mm when it splits?

Seems like most run this exhaust with a 70mm HFC or 70mm tp, but just curious if it will be ok with my 63.5mm HFC.

Slightly less back pressure if you go to 70. Your exhaust is 70mm so it's like extending the 70mm portion of the system. You just don't want to go big then back small. And 70 to two 60s is still bigger. Two 60s outflow one 60. Make sense?

Thanks!

So it should be fine to keep my 63.5mm HFC since the OEM header outlet is already 63.5mm? It will just have slightly more back pressure. Makes sense now about it ultimately getting larger with two 60's.

I do plan on getting a SC early next year. Do you think it will make a difference then?

Less back pressure from bigger pipe diameter = same power at less boost, I have the challenge TA-S 76mm 70mm test pipe and it makes about 2-3 lbs less pressure than the pulley is listed on SOS website.

I've been looking but haven't find too. I'm thinking use the Vibrant Oval muffler with oval tips that look like AP2 OEM for my full 3" dual exhaust.

This one: Vibrant Muffler
