Hey guys,
Sorry but it's a hard time to go through 32 pages of comments and since I didn't see anything on the first page, here's the question:
Invidia Q300 Dual Ti-Tip - Good price but is it really worth it?
Their value is pretty attractive but I just want to make sure it's a good choice.

Just got the hks ssm. Fantastic sound, not too loud even with a test pipe and supercharger. Zero drone. None.
The HKS SSM looks interesting, wish I could actually hear one.
How's it compare loudness wise to stock?
I'm looking for a low, grumbly sound, the tanabe medallion seems like a good choice for me, but it's so hard to tell off YouTube clips.
I basically want a slightly louder, deeper, throghtier tone than stock with WOT or on the cam, but I'd like it about the same when cruising.
And, I'm not expecting any huge hp gains

A buddy and I put new Invidia Q300 exhausts (behind Berk 63.5mm high flow cats) on our cars (AP2 and AP1) last May. Last June we put Tanabe Medalion Touring exhausts on both cars! Neither of us (nor anyone we knew) could stand the noise and drone of the Q300. The Tanabe systems are still on both cars. Highly recommended. I have no experience with the Mugen system buy I ain't spending $2000 on an aftermarket exhaust.
My car dynoed at 221bhp at the rear wheels on a Mustang dyno last summer. Can't be all the K&N intake or cat. (Mustang dynos are reputed to display conservative ratings.)

Thanks for the info on the Invidia Q300 guys.
I'm actually considering stretching my budget a bit more to get the J's Racing C304 60RS Dual, since Evasive Motorsports have a good deal on the system.

2 months of daily driving with the Gernzhaust and I have to say I love this exhaust. Sounds great and unless I'm romping on the car no one really notices it.
I really want to try that one. Have read great things but haven't gotten a chance to hear in person.

I missed out on a great deal for an HKS Hi Power dual, so I went with a 1.5" UK mod. Not as loud as I'd liked, but sounds good. As it should have from the factory IMO. Just got my K&N FIPK put on and the combo is excellent.

Tanabe is a great exhaust. Quiet when driving. But pair it with a tp and that thing screams at 6k and above. Best of both worlds.
