Default Ap2 cams in Ap1?

On craigslist, I came across a seller who is selling Ap2 cams. In his description, he mentioned Ap2 cams being a good mod to an Ap1?
Is this true? I also came across the brian crower stage 2 cams and found the results to be marvelous!
Has anyone done this?

the exhaust cams are the same it is the intake cam that is different. and moddiction was correct, swapping ap1's into ap2's add a little power so I would think it would create a loss by swapping ap2's to an ap1.

so this

"The AP1 intake and exhaust cam both have more lift then the AP2 in VTEC. The exhaust cam has considerably more lift. The AP1 cams happen to have the same profile as the earlier model USDM Acura TSXs."

and this whole thread talking about ap1 vs ap2 cams is incorrect? https://www.s2ki.com/s2000/topic/635...mshaft-thread/

i think it is more likely that you are mistaken. the cams (both intake and exhaust) are not the same ap1 to ap2.
