aut cooling plate

The radiator plate is the piece of plastic in front of the radiator. The metal piece that you removed is not needed, but you should put the weather stripping back in.

That looks good as well. Where di d you get the plate? I was searching for it but could not find one like that. Looks pretty similar though.

Yeah definitely remove the oem radiator plate or this this is all bling and no function at all. And as everyone has said definitely do not have to cut anything for it to fit.
