Default Berk header

Hey guys, I was wondering if anyone has used the berk header? Mainly if there is any power gain and or significant noise note change. I know that their is better headers out there, but I don't have $1600 to spend on an asm, jsracing, or toda. I currently have an Invida Q300, cat-delete, and intake.
Thank you for the help,
-Nick

First off, the Berk is a J's clone. Second, headers don't really add exhaust noise. However it will change the tone and make the valveterain more noticeable. Lastly, If I was spending $1600 on a header, it would be for a Hytech and nothing else.

Yeah I figured it wouldn't change the tone much. Are the gains worth it?

I didn't notice any power. It seemed to make my exhaust a little more tame. Valve train noise did increase. Even though I have no clue how much power, it is lighter than OEM and much nicer looking to me. I am over all happy with my purchase of the Berk header and 3 inch exhaust. When you first get it the butt dyno says more low end but IDK in reality if it is true or not.

I noticed better throttle response and it seemed to rev smoother. So I'd imagine I gained something.

The Berk header will be my next purchase if I don't buy another turbo kit. I'll post numbers after I get tuned again with it.

I think there are gains to be had, but only with a tune and I really can't say how much of the gains can be attributed specifically to the berk header. I can agree that it kind of dulls exhaust noise and changes the tone a bit. I've gained ~20hp over stock with I/H/E/Test Pipe. If I had to do it again I would only buy it used or stick with the extremely well designed exhaust manifold and spend my pennies elsewhere.
