got an intake idea
i was thinking about the days when i owned my eg hatch. and i remember the the air duct on the bumper. so as i got to thinking it got me looking around. i havent found anything to direct the air for the cold air intake but the carbon fiber brake duct would work just the same.
not sure if this has been done this way or not. but by using just the left side (looking at the bumper) brake duct, you can use it to put fresh cool air into the pocket behind the front bumper where your cold air intake sits.
now if someone has done something like this please post up, or if theres any one with knowledge to this do share.

I just cut out the left fake brake duct.
No need to get those ducts if you dont have to. Just take off your front bumper, cut out the fake brake vents, and there you go.
I think the carbon fiber looks more tacky. I just cut mine out and attatched a brake duct with a neoprene hose routed to the filter. Lowered my IATs by about 20 degrees on my supercharger. You can't really tell that its cut out unless you get close. Even then its just dark and black looking.
