If you want to delete all including the air pump you need to get one these if you still use stock ecu 2000-2005 Honda S2000 Air Pump Simulator
prefer not to delete.

I am hearing that people are reconnecting with new lines. Does anyone know what they used?

That metal line resting against the carbon fiber is going to chew through it.

I suggest you remove that metal line, buy a foot of 1/4" fuel line and connect the coolant line from the head to the intake manifold with it.

thanks. Will give it a whirl this weekend. Will I need to bleed the coolant to get air out of the system or will it push out on it's own?

You won't have to bleed it. The following link is the instructions for the k&n kit. Look at picture #9. https://www.knfilters.com/instructions/57-3514_inst.pdf Those are the two ends you'll be connecting.

If you’re quick enough you can do it without draining. That’s how I did mine. Just put your finger over the fittings once you disconnect oem lines to avoid spillage. Keep your finger here until you’re ready to stab the new hose in. Keep the hose elevated higher than then the engine to avoid draining out the hose. Don’t do it when it’s hot for obvious reasons. It’s hard to mess up. Just reconnect a to b with minimal mess.

Also when its's time to close the hood remove all that rubber crap and the underlying metal piece and adjust your hood latch. I took the whole $ht apart and reinstalled it the following weekend after I originally installed it. I can close the hood now but it rubs some parts of the intake and I'm looking for a thinner rubber molding because I don't like the little gap that I have at the front of the hood.

Oh good call, not sure how I could miss that from the picture.
Hard to see any problems then, just remove the metal pipes and replace with hose in same dimension.

Appreciate all the help and information guys! Swapped out the line and she looks much cleaner. Took longer than expected as I needed to take off the intake from the throttle body to get to the bottom part of the hose but much happier now!
