ok firstly..wow..what a dork!
vtec vtec vtec vtec vtec vtec vtec vtec vtec vtec vtec vtec vtec vtec vtec...

Ill purchase an airbox cover very quickly..thanks for the tip...
I'd always thought looking at it that being exposed its just going
to suck in hot engine air instead of much cooler air from
the outside anyway so now thats confirmed.

I'm going to turn her over to Billy at Breits One in Orlando for
a top to bottom check of everything and then I'm going to puddymod
for some 4.77's....I loved going from 4.10's on my '06 and know I'll
enjoy the gear swap on the AP1 as well.

Then it's just the wheel situation...the AXIS 18inchers look so good and do handle
great on slow corners it's just the higher speed stuff wheel on turn in the car gets very unsettled.

have to try the OEMs..maybe powder coated gun metal which should look great with the
NFR paint.

Either OEM or a really light 17in wheel.I personally hated the 4.77 on my 00 I'm back to stock 4.10 now.kind of miss the low end grunt but the car had no guts after 80mph with the 4.77.... IMHO look for a 4.3 final drive

No name calling and keep it civil. I'm sure if you call yourself a name it is probably ok, but regardless. This thread seems to be going nowhere pretty fast.

I don't see the need for your determination!
I think the thread had for the most part come to a conclusion..
except for maybe some discussion on gearing.

Yes...I called myself a "dork"....is there possibly anymore innocuous term
I could have used to poke a little fun at myself?
I'm sorry if I offended any of the "dork" population on the board..
I meant no harm.
Guess I'm do for maybe a paid 4 day leave for some sensitivity training!
where is Harvest Al?

I like his determination
He's trying to be consistant with how he moderates the forum

Like Trackforged said.. put airbox lid on, or borrow one from someone to check it.. put the oem wheels on as well or something lighter.. those wheels weigh a ton.

I updated the post and removed the H btw

I went by this large mom/pop dealership that retails a lot
of higher end sports cars and they hooked up a nice
ecu diagnostic tool that showed low and behold
my S has 3 bad coils among other things!

Maybe that's why the '00 S with 27,000 more miles was
a bit more spry than my car!
