Default Inline Pro f24c experiences?

I recently bought my second S2K and the engine died a slow[ish] and painful death https://www.s2ki.com/s2000/topic/101...to-demonstrate

Apparently engines don't like to be lubricated with metal flakes...

From the dealer's astronomical quotes to get a new engine... an Inline Pro build is looking mighty tempting

Anyone have experience with a 2.4L all motor build from them? Any gotchas I should be aware of? How's the torque as the engine approaches redline? Should I be concerned about resale value or reliability? I like to be informed before a big purchase

Dealer will rape you for a new motor. You can probably find one cheaper through the forums, or you really can't go wrong with anything from inline. To be honest for the money you are going to spend anyway.... it' not a bad investment to grab a inline stroked motor.

Inline pro has been around for a good amount of time, they have great customer service I'm sure you won't regret going with them. I have no experience with their 2.4 to comment on it.

I had inline pro build my first 2.2L motor which did amazingly well for 3 seasons until I dropped a valve. I now have a slightly bored F24 which makes it at 2.44L that I am putting together. I have nothing but great things to say about inline pro and I highly recommend them.

K24 cranks have narrower bearing surfaces than our f20/22 cranks. Does that not bother anybody?
