Default Lumpy idling cams?

Anyone put any in an S2000? I want that stupid big cams sound! (and the extra few ponies wont hurt)

Does one need to replace valves or anything else at the same time? Recomendations?

Toda vtec killer cams
You'll need to replace/remove things

You will for sure need an ems and probably need to check clearances. The vtec system will be removed and you will essentially always be in vtec...thus giving you your lumpy and high idle

Toda cams and springs sound like a possible good option from some reviews on here.

Their website says you can't use the stock ECU with them, I've seen some guys on here that continue to use the standard ECU?

I would probably use bc stage 2 cams. They'll work on a stock ecu but I would recommend at least a vafc2 because you will run rich because your ecu will try to compensate. Also I would recommend upgrading your valve springs and retainers. The cams will probably put too much of a load on your oem ones. Here is a quick vid of my stage 2 cams.

Please keep rude comments to yourself...... Enjoi.. Lol

This sounds like a bad idea just for the sake of doing it. If you want a lumpy V8 idle this probably isn't the car for you.

You do not want to do this if you daily your car. Sure, it will give you that lumpy idle, but Toda Vtec-killer cams are for race purposes only. You will lose so much power and torque under 6k (there is little torque to begin with) not to mention a stand alone and tune. Your talking big money just to get a certain "sound"

I might run some VTEC killers in the future. IDK if I want to get rid of a broad powerband though; gotta love tuned VTEC motors.

Thanks for the advice. Basically I just do things based on how "hillarious" they are. And an S2000 with lopey cams going nuts sounds pretty fun to me. The BC ones sound fun though, might look into them a bit more
