Maxium bore on a oem tb
So my manifold project is almost done, it's ported heavily, keeping the stock size on the gasket head side.
However, i need to bore the throttle-body out, what are my options.
93-98 mustang 4.6 throttle-body boarded to 72+
oem s2k throttle-body bored out to ??
i know i can re-weld the passage on the sensors on the edge, and i can bore it myself..
how big has everyone gone ?

i would've sent the throttlebody and the manifold to maxbore http://www.maxbore.com/ for the service, throttlebody/manifold = $175, i'd have told them to max bore it within the limits of minimum wall thickness, and they'd custom make/fit the butterfly, i'm sure you can adequately bore your own stuff but the perfect butterfly i would think is tough for the diy.

i'm kinda at a wall. The oem intake is just so horrid, the plenum is just plain wrong. I might just cut the entire plenum off, and build my own using the existing runners and mounting plate.
but.. thats a huge huge project, and i have so many at this point i might just have it sent out to maxbore.. i dunno..
