Yep. The power difference is minimal. We are talking 1-2hp at best.

Impressive!
Would be great to gain some more information about how you ducted your ITBs at times
But so far:
Thank you very much for the valuable information!

No problem

Ducting right now, I have a 3" and 2" flexible duct pulling cool air from the front bumper and right side fender, pointed right at the itb filter.

That's insane, you're only putting down 20whp less than a V8 from an e92 M3, to think that you're doing it with 1.6l and 4 cylinders less.

Did you block off the oil squirters or did you machine the pistons to clear them?

E92 M3's have 4 liter v8 engines and put down 340-350 whp stock.

4 liters - 2.4 liters = 1.6 liters less
8 cylinders - 4 cylinders = 4 cylinders less
350 whp - 330 whp = 20 hp less

What's so hard to understand haha

These custom x-forged pistons I ordered from IP had some clearance issues with squirters. They didn't have the cut out in the skirt like their regular off the shelf pistons have.

Ended up blocking off the oil squirters. I'm not really happy running it without squirters. I love squirters haha

Working on a spare block this winter. Had a chat with Josh from 4piston earlier this week. May be trying a different approach regarding custom pistons and rods.

Also want to tinker with the ITB runners and trumpets. I think there is some more potential to be unlocked.

I think 340-345 whp is doable with current head and cams.

I see. I was just thinking the E90/92 makes about 420hp, but didn't figure what the whp was. And your 1.6liter breakdown threw me also, but I see what you did after your clarification.
