you might want to spend the next $1,000 on a flashpro/tune instead of a header. i think it's better for the car and you will be happier with the results.

Hytech ftw.

question answered by budget. Although the plm is a great piece for the price point.

I have the toda torquie-kun header and love it! Although it was about 3 times the price of the PLM ebay header.

PLM is a J's knock off. J's has proven gains. So if the PLM lives up to its design, it’s a valid question, certainly when you throw value in the equation. I still rock an OEM header myself, to me it’s the last thing to spend your money on for gaining any performance value.

The J's header isn't a particularly great design either. One of the biggest gains from a header is just a little weight savings. I'm with the guy that said get a test pipe and flashpro and go get tuned. That will net you more than any header you can buy.

I agree. Being FI, any gains seen from a header will be magnified quite a bit so that’s where i'm speaking from, but if your NA, there are so many other things to do for less money that will yield more power. I'd say leave the header alone and focus on other areas. When your NA its really hard to improve on the oe header, when you see any gains at all, its typically moving the power from somewhere else in the powerband at the stake of losing it somewhere else. Hell you could pick up a big bore TB for under $300 and yield more power and response over the entire RPM range. SOS makes a great one thats proven.
