Separate heat exchanger for intake manifold coolant
Hey everybody, my first post here. I live in miami fl where it feels like 100 degrees every day, and wanted to know if anybody has ever tried a separate cooling route in the intake manifold. I blocked off the coolant flow to the manifold to reduce heat soak but still have issues. I was thinking of basically having a separate heat exchanger to cool water from the manifold and throttle body and keep IAT down. I figured I could just run the coolant with a 12 V pump running from the battery, and isolate the intake manifold from the head with a hondata intake manifold gasket so the head can stay at its optimal temperature. I've tried to find a diagram of the coolant passages in the intake manifold and throttle body but no luck. Anybody have any experience with this sort of thing or tried it before? I'm looking for some input on this before I give it a shot.

What does the rest of your intake look like?
