Default 08 & 09 owners...how to keep VSA off?

dear all 08 and 09 owners, as you all know our S these years comes with tire pressure monitor system (TPMS). and when you have aftermarket wheels without the sensors, you will get a TPMS warning and VSA can't be turned off. i emailed Hondata and even flashpro can't help

what are some ways around that? i personally don't mind the VSA on a daily drive, but the odd times i want that VSA off for track and other occasion.

do u buy 4 TPMS sensors for your track wheels?

thanks!

I know in FlashPro you can create a tune with VSA turned off by default, would creating a "track" tune with VSA turned off work? If not I think you will have to bite the bullet and get TPMS sensors for your track wheels.

contacted Hondata, no software tune will work when TPMS warning is on.

if i have to get TPMS, which one we need? is there specific ones? i remember try getting TPMS sensors for an Acura RDX and damn OEM sensors didn't work on aftermarket rims!

I would guess you would need the OEM or similar TPMS sensor... like these: 2009 HONDA S2000 2.2L L4 Tire Pressure Monitoring System (TPMS) Sensor | RockAuto

My friend has a CR, removed his TPMS and can turn off his VSA. Heres another thread about it:

Is it just a CR thing that allows it? I'm curious.

Im hoping for someone without a CR and TPMS removed to chime in to say if they can turn VSA off. Or at least with the TPMS light on.

I own an 08 base. VSA can be turned off with TPMS system light illuminated.
