This is a track wheel, so I'm hoping that BBK clearance is one of priorities in the spoke design of the wheel.

If it doesn't clear a BBK, then these are useless as track wheels. There are plenty of other non-BBK clearing wheel options out there.
What he said. I have a stoptech kit and will be looking for a set of wheels next year. If it doesn't clear a BBK a lot of folks won't be interested. If it has higher offsets (rather than say +45) that's also very welcome so the fenders don't need to be rolled/pulled. There aren't too many other 17x9 high offset BBK friendly wheels. The TSW nurburgings are one of only a handful.

Hi, I'm trying to find definitive information about BBK fitment for 6ULR 17x9 +63 with 255 all around (Toyo RA1) - lowered on AST shocks and Hyperco springs, no fender roll. I only use the car for track, and I'm eating through rotors and pads like crazy even though I have brake cooling. I'd prefer not to get new rims, and I understand that any spacer over 5mm or so will affect handling...

Information has been hard to decipher... and I could use some help.
----------------------------------------
Wilwood Dynapro (4 piston)
- 12.9", not sure what specific kit ... ?
- From reading through s2ki, it seems the Dynalite is crap and Dynapro offers little-to-no advantage over OEM (not really a BBK?)

Wilwood Superlite 6R (6 piston, narrow)
- Not sure if these will fit

Racing Brake 13" S2000 Kit
- Not sure if these will fit

- Template http://www.racingbrake.com/v/downloads/2146fitment.pdf

- I see two contradicting posts, one saying they fit and another saying they don't; For now I'll assume these don't fit w/o a spacer

https://www.s2ki.com/s2000/topic/761...x9-17x10-6ulr/
- What size spacer would be needed?

Stoptech 4 piston 328 mm kit (ST40)
- I understand these only fit the 17x9 +48 and 17x10 +52
- What size spacer would be needed for +63? 10mm, 12mm, 15mm, other?

AP Racing (Essex/Urge Design) 4 Piston
- What size spacer would be needed for +63? 10mm, 12mm, 15mm, other?

Other kits to consider, including details on required spacer/modifications/etc?

Thanks in advance!

Another option could be the 2piece Urge rotors?

True, I just added the AP Racing kit to the list... thanks. Do you know anything about fitment on the +63 rim - size of spacer required?

^ +1 The new Urge rear 2-piece rotors and Essex front AP Racing kit would make a great pair.

I think I deleted my notes on caliper dimensions so I'm posting from memory and the fitment templates I made (RacingBrake, StopTech, Essex AP Racing). My comments are all specific to a CE28N 17x9+63 and a 949 6ULR 17x9+63.

Wilwood Dynapro (4 piston)
I think these fit with little to no spacer- the calipers are very narrow. 3RR has a kit and Wilwood also sells one. Autocrossers use them because they are extremely light and have easy fitment. Quality of materials and technology are on the lower end and pedal feel is one of the worst.

Wilwood Superlite 6R (6 piston, narrow)
Didn't investigate but likely very similar to the 4 pistons.

Racing Brake 13" S2000 Kit
These have 1-2mm better clearance than StopTech, but require 3mm from spoke to caliper compared to the 2mm of StopTech. On a CE28N, you need a 5mm spacer. On a 6ULR, you need a 7mm IIRC. I've seen mixed reviews on their rotors and not much is known about the caliper quality.

Spoon
Fitment is very poor for a cosmetic improvement and weight cut.

Stoptech 4 piston 328 mm kit (ST40)
I have this kit and run them with either a CE28N or a 6ULR. The calipers require 2mm spoke clearance and would need a 7mm spacer to achieve that on the CE28N and 8mm spacer for the 6ULR. I run them with 10mm spacers since any spacers between 5 and 10mm requires custom machining. By far the heaviest (still lighter than OEM), but they are bomb proof and widely used.

AP Racing (Essex/Urge Design) 4 Piston
Only 2mm wider than StopTech at the caliper's widest point, but they require significantly more clearance near the hub. It is not friendly to curved spokes near the hub (6ULR) and would require 20-25mm spacer for the 6ULR. Middle of the road on weight and top dog for technology. These fit much better with wider wheels or lower offsets that allow straighter spokes at the hub.

Other kits to consider, including details on required spacer/modifications/etc?[/b]
Brembo was close to StopTech fitment, IIRC, and about $1k more for the kit. Brembo, J's and Endless are all expensive due to their name and few people run them on track.

Awesome info! Thank you so much for the detailed response, this helped me a ton. The StopTech + 10mm spacer for the 6ULR +63 will be the best option for me.

I guess the most common spacers seem to be project kics or h&r spacers?

Shame these 9" fronts don't clear most BBK! 10mm is quite a big spacer, although I guess taking it down to a +53 offset is still good for arch / fender clearance.
