2009 S2000 Challenge Series
I must say, while I kinda started the unofficial, semi sanctioned rules committee and appointed Jaku among others, I'm glad I bailed on it a few days ago.
Looks like you guys have your hands full getting the rules and regs dialed. Have fun!
Meanwhile, I can never be accused of tailoring the rules to my car
I DQ'd my self from competing in the Miata Challenge because I wrote those rules. Now I can get my butt kicked in the S2KC fair and square.
255/40/17 Star Specs arrived this morning. AP2 rear wheels getting bored so I can run square OEM. Top Sekrit Spenshun Tooning taking place. Gotta find a way to get my 7 lb battery to stay in place.
Teetering on the ragged edge of 5 pts..

i think the car pretty much has nothing else to strip.

What I'm talking about is different......and DOT legal. Since the rules are not clear its my intention to do so.....I don't want to hear any crap about it later either.
What's with all these bickering. We have to thank the organizer and the people helping to make this possible. Without them we won't have this challenge at all. I am sure it took them a long time to develop the rules. Once these rules are set, we just have to comply with it and move on. Whether we like it or not. You can give suggestion, but it's up to ed/jaku to decide, these guys are doing this stuff for free for us, they don't get paid.
So let's have some fun this Saturday whether you are in unlimited/stock/modified.
