Does it really make a big difference? I always thought braking ability was ultimately limited by your tires, specifically your front tires. You can always increase your braking force at the rotor-pad interface beyond the mechanical limit of your tires-road interface by using race pads, no? I would think that if anything a brake bias lever would give you some real advantage, but I'm not sure by how much.
