Default 245 or 255 Star Spec Z1...8.5" wheel

Would a 245 give more traction on a 8.5 rear wheel than a 255? The search engine sucks with numbers...

I have read somewhere that the 255 on a 9" wasnt as good as a larger width...would the same apply to my 8.5?

255 on an 8.5" wheel is fine. I don't know why a 245 on the same wheel would have more traction...

definetly less feel. wouldnt say less grip.

i found the oem 245's on a 9 wheel less snappy then 255 azenis on the oem 8.5" wheel.

I have been running 255's (both RE01R's and HTR ZIII's) on the stock AP2 rear wheels and they are very squared. With that being said, I'm not sure the 9" rims are really needed. I just wanted the 9" so I could get the lightweight very good priced 949Racing wheels.
