Default 2nd and 3rd gear shifting issues

After 60,000+ miles and several track days I developed what appeared to be a synchronizer problem when shifting into 2nd and 3rd gear. The problem comes and goes. When it's present it manifest itself as a clunk or thump sensation as you shift into 2nd or 3rd gear.

I took it to my Honda dealer and they said there was a service bulletin (#00-055) to correct the problem of "grinding when shifting into 2nd gear". Since mileage was 67,700 I went ahead and replaced the clutch set also. Well, to make long story short, the clunk was still there after the work was done. As I said before, this is more of a intermittent thump or clunking sensation rather than a grinding of gears (although that might be open to interpretation).

Has anyone out there had a similar problem and what if any fix did you come up with?

You probably want try different fluid, I was tryed Honda MTF, GM mtf and Redline MTF. GM is the best for me, no more problem with 1-2-3. Personally with Honda MTF sometime it happeds when I shifting from 1st to 2nd, but no problem with 2-3. And personally I highly recommand not use Redline, doesn't match our tranny at all, hard to shift and down shift all gears.
