Thanks for the response. Can you move the Sparko further back so that it is against the rear or does it hit the side of the roll bar first? Secondly can you use your covertible roof with this set up and a OEM hard top?

I'm curious how everyone else has trouble unless they have really long legs and sit pretty far back. I'm 6'1" and lanky, and I still sit two clicks forward with my stock seats. I don't recline the seat back at all, but there's several inches back there so I could get some recline if I wanted to right now.

Now, admittedly, it is a pain to get in and out of the thing. I have to pull a "Lotus Elise-ish" move to slide in and out underneath the wheel. I can only assume this will get worse when I put in a Harddog bar and bucket seats, but I don't drive it daily so it's worth it for me.
With the seat all the way back, with no recline, my thigh hits the steering wheel if I'm wearing shoes with soles/heels. I'm 6'2" and relatively thin, but that's the way it is with me.

Here are some photos of a Sparco Rev on Buddy Club rails in the full back, full low position. The roll bar is one of the GFL/Hard Dog bars. The measurement from the back of the butt part of the seat to the top of the brake pedal is 44.5". For reference, I have a 32" inseam, and in this position I could outstretch my legs completely (toes pointed up) and not touch any of the pedals. Additional wheel/thigh clearance can be gained by removing the thigh pad on the seat. IMO, if this setup does not work for you, quit racing and join the NBA

Just a tip for cleaning up the interior trim that needs to be cut; you can get pinch molding (same as the stuff you usually find covering the door seams on most cars) in pretty much any size you need. It would cover up the raw edge left behind by cutting the plastic and make it look a lot more OEM.

If you want more leg room get a race seat... Im all the way back with my stock seat... but with my sparco EVO all the way back its hard to push the pedals.
Plus my custom roll bar provides full stock seat travel. I wouldve liked it to be a little higher, but it does the job.
