If you're going to take the car on track, I'd cover the weights with Aluminum Duct tape, so they dont slip or come off when the wheel heats up.

on the tape part.
the goodyear guys here use black gaffers tape
seems to work good for me.
also even if your just running them on the street it will keep your weights looking good
