Default Aim Solo2 DL Configuration

Hi ladies and gents,
Anyone have any luck pulling data through the OBD2 port using a solo2DL? For reference my s2k is a 2000, OEM ECU. I’ve tried configuring through race studio 3. It has no option for s2k ECU and the generic OBD2 option doesn’t work either. I tracked my car about 10 times this year so now trying to datalog and collect lap times to help me improve.
Thanks in advance,
Dustin

It works on my 2000. Sorry I don't have my settings handy, but I would think the generic OBD2 should work? Keep in mind on a AP1 the data you get is really slow, like once per second sampling rate, and there isn't very much useful data. Mainly TPS is the only useful data point to analyze your driving, and it's too slow to be much help. BUT having the AIM display real coolant temp on track is useful, as well as IAT and a couple other things. I also really like having it plugged into the OBDII port so it start when I turn the car on automatically and I don't have to ever think about it.
And I just realized you wrote Solo2. I have the original SoloDL. But some of the above will still apply.

I haven't figured it out either. Can't get it to really pull any ECU info other than speed and I think voltage lol. Not even RPM's. I have an '07ap2.

Forgive my ignorance, but what if OP had an AEM V1? (Like I do)

It might take some custom configuration but you should be able to get a whole bunch of useful data on an 07. 06+ broadcasts things like TPS, brake pressure, and steering angle to the canbus and this can be accessed through the OBDII port.

I had talked to AIM directly. They told me they are working out some bugs in the ISO ECU setting. Still not convinced that’s going to change anything for the future. I was still able to look at data with g-force and speed traces etc so I guess not all is lost.

I saw this was a fairly new thread so figured I'd reply. I got a Solo 2 DL last week and couldn't get it to read from the OBDII. Finally got ahold of the right guy at tech support. If you have an 06+ and are using the stock ECU call them and ask for the HONDA_BT S2000.XC1 file. He also sent me the instructions to import it and update the ECU. Worked like a charm!
