Default Alignement with stock wheels or new wheels

So the shop that was supposed to do my alignment today called and asked for my stock wheels because he said my car was too low for his tool... he said it doesn't matter if he does the alignment with my stock wheels or my current wheels, I don't really like the idea but I don't have the choice since I need this done for Friday so what do you guys think?

btw my setup is RPF1 17x8+45|225/45F and 17x9+45|255/40R on RS3

and I asked for -2.7 camber front, 6 caster, and 3,2 camber rear,1/4 total toe in

(the car isn't seeing any street road)

IF you are specifying INCHES of toe, then yes, the wheel size does matter due to math and trigonometry and stuff. Degrees are degrees and will always be the same with whatever wheel size you run.

So if we take in consideration that the stock tire is 1,181 inch smaller, can we determine how much toe it's going to be on my new wheels if he does alignment with the stock wheels?

Should I ask for more toe or less toe to compensate for the smaller wheels?

Damn, this sucks.

Isn't the alignment done at the hub of the wheel with those machines? I think the shop is correct and it doesn't matter...
