Alignment Help
I'm trying to find out what the:
1. Factory alignment specs are
2. What the suggested alignment specs are for autocross
3. Local (near Catonsville, MD), trusted mechanic to go to for alignment
Thanks,
Don
G. Obadia (333, I think) sent me some of this info, but I lost it. Please help me out!

Need - more - data...
What other mods (front swaybar)? What size tires?
Stock specs for your '02 are -0.5 deg front/-1.5 deg rear camber. You generally want about one more degree negative camber for all-out performance on R-compound tires with a big front swaybar, 0 toe in front (maybe 1/8" total toe OUT) and 1/8"-1/4" toe IN for the rear. Too many variables to be more accurate at this point...

On the street, I run stock wheels with Toyo Proxes T1-S.
For autocross, I have stock wheels with Kumho Victoracers.
I have a Generation 1 Saner sway bar set to the inner most hole.
Other than that, everything else is stock.

Generally, however, you can use the specs I quoted above as a starting point. Note that it will wear the inside of your street tires with that much camber. I use the UK specs which end up with -1.0 deg. front and .2.0 deg. rear. Still get inside tire wear but it's acceptable (to me). Note that the exact settings are also a function of how YOU like the car - do you want a little understeer or do you like the rear end more active? As a newbie, a little understeer is "safer" as long as you understand that you can make ANY car understeer with the wrong inputs (e.g. entering a turn to fast and cranking the wheel over)...
Ok, so you have as much understeer (or least oversteer) dialed in via the bar. You can use tire pressures and/or camber to get the car to take advantage of that stiffness. It's still a personal call since you need to dial the car in to run as you like it. You're in the ballpark - now you need to figger out how to hit a homer...
