OMFG You saw a newbie crash due to alignment?!? I'll be sure to stay away from those track events...
Yes please do we are all just maniacs here on the other coast I am sure they wouldn't let me in to any of your fancy pants events anyway.

As far as the crash there were many other reasons the driver crashed, but he mentioned his car pulled to one side when braking, he of course lifted suddenly and it was wet.

FYI my car had pretty uneven caster from the factory (almost 1 degree) and it did feel darty when braking.

You should definitely at least check it. Maybe the reason you spun out was because of a biased alignment. If you have the time, I suggest sitting in the car while the tech does the alignment: since I am a fat-so, my weight does affect the static alignment of the car.

The alignment shop I got to is not a race shop by any means, and I just show up with a sheet of specs, and ask them to match it. I sit in the car, and do the caster sweep, and hold the wheel dead straight when they do the toe. They are pretty tolerant of me doing this as I always buy my tires from them (three cars).

Good luck,
Bassem

Exactly. I take my own numbers and give it to them to match as closely as possible. Of course alignment wont be as good as those race shops but with aftermarket wheels/suspension, alignments must be done often. So in the end, those cheap lifetime Firestone alignments do pay off.
