Alignment question
I'm getting an alignment in 2 hours and need to know what to get.
Here's my problem. I'm getting ALOT of oversteer during auto-x's and I need it fixed somehow. I was thinking of going to these specs (close to UK specs)
Front:
Camber: -1.0
Caster: 6.75
Toe: 0"
Rear:
Camber: -2.5
Toe: 1/4" total toe in.
ALSO, how would the handling differ if I switched it to this. (Front camber)
Front:
Camber: -1.5
Caster: 6.75
Toe: 0"
Rear:
Camber: -2.5
Toe: 1/4" total toe in.
THANK YOU GUYS SO MUCH,
Nick

The second set looks good. You'll want to run around -1.5* up front, which is around the max you can get with a good amount of camber. The rear settings look fine; the 1/4" of toe-in will cause accelerated tire wear, but I don't know if that is a concern of yours. You might be able to get away with -2.0* camber in the rear, it's your call.
Your understeer problem is likely due to your driving technique. You're likely going into the corners too hot and pushing from there. Bad inputs (steering/throttle) could be contributing as well. It could be your current alignment settings as well, but we won't know that until you post the current settings after today's alignment.

Ok well lets go from here...
What will get my oversteer problem fixed because i am having WAY to much oversteer. My car is out of alignment, I've already checked air pressure and all that and I can see them wearing uneven. Understeer is more controlable but the oversteer is killing my lap times

That's DEFINITELY a driving technique problem, unless you did something to the suspension or put fat tires up on the front.
Why would you think more front camber would help an oversteer problem?

Also, I bought the car used with 42,000 miles. I have 45,000 now and I don't know if the shocks were ever changed. I'm guessing they should have been though right? I just dont know what kind of set up to get and I am fully open to suggestions on alignment (or shocks at that matter)

Heavier front swaybar
More tire stagger (wider rears or narrower fronts)
I appologize if this comes out as rude because that's not how it's intended. I already know most about the bars and tires and all that. But I need the alignment to get fixed because it isn't right. I can't afford the other stuff as of right now so what should I get done for the time being...
Front:
Camber: -1.0 or -1.5 (which one??? and what wil that affect)
