Default Alignment Question Not being able to achieve previous settings

My previous alignment was Front Camber maxed at -2.0. And Caster was L-5.7 and R-5.8. I went to get a realignment and was only able to get Front Left 1.9 and Front Right 1.8. Caster was front left only maxed out at 5.5 and right stayed at 5.8 had to lower both to 5.5. What is the possible reason for me being unable to achieve my previous settings? Any ways to get my car back to its previous settings?

This is an option but first.....are the sub frame bolts tight? If you max out the camber on both sides is one considerably more assuming your posted settings are only maxed on one side?

Your differences are so minor I wouldn't put it past the machine being out of calibration slightly.

No reason to worry.

Option B is you have a different tech and he's just not as good as the last. There are some tricks to getting more camber and having things line up on this car and it takes time. Could be this guy was lazy this time, different person, etc etc.

Hey thanks for the replies. I used the same Alignment guy he does a majority of the local track and autocross alignments and is very meticulous. He did mention that it maybe possible that my compliance bushing could be failing. I could not max out my right caster because the left one only went to 5.5 but previously was set at 5.7 I will take a look at the subframe bolts and double check they are tight. If my subframe is bolts are loose would just making them tight fix the issue or would I need to align it properly? Could you please elaborate on the tricks to optimizing camber. What legal changes can I make but not get bumped from A Street. Would Spoon rigid collar be a legal option? When should I worry about replacing bushing? Thanks and sorry for the noob questions.

Doesn't matter how meticulous the guy is, these differences are insignificant and within day to day error.

One thing that could definitely do it is if you loosened anything on your suspension and retightened it, you can play with doing that if you want.

So minor you'll never even notice.

Typically if it is a subframe issue, one side will yield more camber than the standard max while the other side will yield less. If you can visualize how the subframe affects camber, it is easy to see if that is the issue.

I would recommend aligning and retorquing subframes at some point regardless.

...

Based on your results, is it possible that the car was just a touch lower last time? Or maybe it was just on a lift and had not completely settled?
