Yea I know that but my friend got an used Stack system without sensors, and since most other dashes can connect to different type of ECUs through a interface module, he is wondering if the STACK has an CAN-BUS interface so we can just hook it up to OBD to get datas from stock ECU, which saves lots work.

Honda Can-Bus thread. Too technical for me!

Each manufacturer has different data on the bus and that depends on the year o the car as well. My '02 Explorer has a different bus than my '07 Expedition for example. The scan gauge that sits on the dash of my Expedition to monitor transmission and cylinder head temperature (I'm slightly anal towing a camper) will not just plug the Explorer. Several years ago when I got the Expedition I took it to the engineers who make the Interceptor gauge and they hooked the truck up to a couple of computers to find the signals Ford was using and then programmed a chip for the gauge. No reason to think it's any easier with the Honda!

Some stuff ain't on the bus and will need separate sensors as noted earlier.

No clue what's on the S2000 bus and it may be completely different from '00 to '08.

I have one in my racecar. Not hooked up to obd2 tho. I'm pretty sure the newer 81xx series can link into obd2 but call stack - they're very helpful.
