I'm interested in trying autocrossing. I live in the SF bay area and very recently sent in an application to join the SCCA. I understand I can't participate in the SF region events until I get my card. I was wondering if any other organization holds autocross events or if some nearby community has events that I could check out before my membership card arrives.
I'd also be very grateful for any advice as far as getting started in this sport.
Thanks

In Phoenix you don't have to be an SCCA member and there is no price difference.

San Francisco Region has about 300 people show up at each event. That's the reason they require you to have the SCCA card.
