I know Ron's a nice guy and have run with him at a small handfull of events. I like anyone who shows up at the track with any regularity.

He e-mail me too about it the whole thing basicly saying the same thing as he posted.

Maybe if he posted his entire unedited letter, this whole thing would blow over.

Bah. It's Automobile Magazine. That's a step off from the Weekly World News. Makes SCC magazine look like a friggin Bible.

Forgive and forget I say. Every Miata fan I know is also an S2000 fan. Is the S faster than the Miata? With equal drivers, it sure is! But so what? That doesn't make either car any less fun. I love my Miata alot, but I'm also an S fan. And every top-down S2000 that I see on the road gets a wave, the same as every Miata.

BTW, at the last local autocross I attended, I beat 2 NSXs and a Z06 in my little Miata. I could write letters to magazines about that accomplishment and how much "faster" my Miata is than every other car in the universe bla bla bla... or I could feel pride that I'm learning how to be a better driver and keep my pen in the drawer. And I hate writing letters...

Let's keep those tops down, boys.
